Our school community is one of our highest priorities. Engaging with families and supporting them in any way we can is very important to everyone at St Mary's. 
My name is Yvette Silva and I am the Family Engagement in Learning Leader (FELL) at St Mary's as well as being a classroom teacher.

Many of our teachers have participated in our Community Classrooms program over the last few years. Here they learnt about the important link between engaging families and improving student learning outcomes, as shown through research.
