Religious Education is central to life at St Mary's Primary school.

As a Catholic school we have a close relationship with our Parish community of St Mary's which is in walking distance from our school. Our students participate regularly in Mass with our Parish Priest Fr Brendan Lane as well as the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. 

The following grades generally celebrate Sacraments at these times:

       Confirmation                   Year 6       

Families are encouraged to support the preparation of candidates for the Sacaraments including a Family Preparation session held at school in the weeks before the celebration.
